By providing your mobile phone number and opting in to receive text messages from Canoe & Trail Adventures, you agree to the following SMS Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Program Description & Consent
When you opt-in to text messaging during the online booking process, via our website form, or by initiating a text conversation with us, you authorize Canoe & Trail Adventures to send automated and conversational text messages (including SMS and MMS) to the mobile number you provide.
These messages are designed to assist with your bookings and outdoor experiences, and may include:
Reservation confirmations and digital receipts.
Logistical updates, launch site coordinates, or weather-related delays/cancellations.
Direct, two-way communication with our staff regarding your rental or guided tour.

Note: Your consent to receive text messages is completely voluntary and is not a requirement to purchase any goods or book any rentals/tours with us.
2. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. Typically, you will receive messages leading up to and during your scheduled rental, camp week, or guided trip. Some customer may also receive a post event SMS for feedback. We do not blast frequent or daily marketing texts.
3. Cost & Carrier Charges
Canoe & Trail Adventures does not charge a fee to send or receive text messages. However, message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and your specific phone plan. You are solely responsible for any text messaging or data charges incurred.
4. Supported Carriers
Our text messaging program is supported by major mobile carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, and Sprint. Delivery of messages is subject to the effective transmission of your mobile network operator and is outside of our control.
5. How to Opt-Out (Stop Messaging)
You can cancel and opt-out of the text messaging service at any time.
To stop receiving messages, simply reply STOP to any text message you receive from us.
After sending STOP, you will receive one final text message confirming that you have been unsubscribed. Following that confirmation, you will no longer receive text messages from us unless you choose to opt back in.
